Where it all began...

For the longest time, I treated water like a background habit.
As I began paying more attention to how my body felt day to day, I realised hydration played a bigger role than I had assumed.
Not all water felt the same. So, I looked at how water is sourced, handled, and what was actually reaching us.
What I found was unexpected.
Much of the water we drink is processed more than we realise, driven by convenience and scale rather than how it affects the body.
That’s when the idea for Rehydr8 took shape.
I wanted to create the kind of water I would choose for myself.
Clean, light, and genuinely good for the body.

But there’s more to this.

Water is a part of your daily nutrition.
The minerals present in it help the body absorb it. But when water goes through treatment and processing, those minerals get stripped away.
So when you drink such water, the body sees little value in retaining it. And it tends to flush it out quickly. (Causing multiple trips to the restroom in a short span)
Over time, this affects hydration efficiency, electrolyte balance.
Along with functions linked to the heart, muscles and metabolism.
Add plastic bottles to this, and it’s a recipe for slow poison. The microplastics & chemical leaching can lead to low-grade inflammation and hormonal disruption, while accumulating inside our bodies.
Over the years, these small things can cause big problems. That’s why, for me, Rehydr8 is a mission.
